Notice of 2009/10 Budget Inspection and Second Public Hearing Date

The governing board of the Alameda County Office of Education will conduct a second public hearing on their Proposed Final Budget for 2009/10 and the SBX3 4 Tier III Flexibility acceptance and uses of funds, in accordance with the provision of Education Code Section 42103, at their regular board meeting.

Date: June 9, 2009, 10:30 a.m.

Place: Alameda County Office of Education
313 W. Winton Avenue, Hayward, CA

Members of the public may appear before the governing board at the public hearing to speak to the proposed final budget or any item therein.

The 2009/10 Proposed Final Budget will be available for public review beginning Friday, May 22, 2009, any time between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Alameda County Office of Education, 313 W. Winton Avenue, Hayward, CA in the main lobby area.

On May 22, 2009, the budget will be available at the following public library locations:

  • Hayward Main Public Library, 835 C Street, Hayward, CA
  • Pleasanton Public Library, 400 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA
  • Oakland Main Public Library, 125 14th Street, Oakland, CA

There are three options available to provide us with your questions or comments concerning the Proposed Budget:

  • Option 1: Complete a Comment Card, available at ACOE’s main lobby facility
  • Option 2: Contact the Business Services Office at (510) 670-4273 for a Comment Card to be mailed to you, or
  • Option 3: Complete the Comment Card form and fax to Marissa Gracey at (510) 670-4511 in the Business Services Office.
