Budgeting and Accounting

The Budgeting and Accounting Department provides the following services operated by the County Office of Education:

• Development, revision, and analysis of the County Office budget
• Provides general accounting and special financial project services
• Prepares and submits fiscal reports and other financial reports required by state and federal agencies
• Establishes and implements internal control procedures
• Monitors and controls ACOE cash flow

Internal Business Services maintains ACOE’s general ledger in compliance with the Standard Account Coding Structure (SACS) and Government Accounting Standards Board. For more information about the Government Accounting Standards Board, visit www.gasb.org
